Mya’s powers came in when she was twelve, much earlier than most. She can turn into animals with less mass that she has in human form, and all animals absolutely adore her.

Due to her age, she is part of the Emergency Response Reserves junior program.

She grew up on rural central maryland, more outside than in, raised by parents with a strong belief in free ranged children.

Inside of her is a pocket dimension that is wild forest land filled with her animal friends. When she goes there, she re-appears in the same spot.

Nathan is a special forces soldier who is actually made of stone. His strength far exceeds human, and he is exceedingly effective with his stone sledgehammer. His appearance is outputting to most. The Army accepted him and he made it his family.

He was on leave when everything went down, and his duty now is report the nearest base and return to his unit. He will obviously help those along the way, but he can be most effective by reporting in.
